We carry the most common water heater sizes on our trucks and in our warehouse. And we have decades of experience in water heater diagnostics, repair, and replacement. We’re repair specialists, we won’t try to talk you into an expensive replacement when a simple repair will suffice! But if you need, or want, a new water heater, we’ve probably got just what you need in stock. (We just added 2000 sq ft to our warehouse area and it looks like the water heaters have already claimed the space!)
The laws have changed a lot in the last couple years. New energy efficiency rules have changed the entire manufacturing and design process, industry wide. As a result, many water heater sizes have changed, so that your new heater may not fit in the same space that your old one did. This can require some creative thinking when it’s time to replace a water heater. The way many water heaters work has also changed in the past couple of years, manufacturers are experimenting with new ways to heat water and with new ways of keeping it hot once it has been brought up to desired temperature. With everything from the more traditional electric and gas heaters to the newer on demand tankless and heat pump style water heaters available, it’s a confusing and an exciting time to be in the industry!
If you want to do some research before choosing a new water heater, here’s an interesting page from the US Department of Energy.
